Is Nintendo Really Done with Sprites?

Pikachu BW
Sprite Style
3D (Wii U and 3DS) Style

Is Nintendo really done with sprites? Think about it. Have you seen many sprite games not counting Virtual Console or 3D Classics on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U? No! It kinda makes me sad to see our old friend sprite retire after all these years! The Wii and Nintendo DS and DS lite and DSi/XL are all pretty much done their hard work and are ready for retirement. And you think Wii U and 3DS are the big things now, what if they come out with a Wii Z? Or a 4DS? Seriously! You think Wii U and 3DS are so cool, but then in 5 to 7 years you're gonna think the Wii U and 3DS are lame, and everybody will write letters to Santa saying they want the Wii Z and the 4DS. So play you're Game Boy and NES games for the last time, and get ready for the Wii Z and 4DS!!!!!!!!
