List of Pokémon Movies

Here is a list of the Pokémon movies in order of their release. Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns was still a technically a movie, for it said on Cartoon Network and the DVD and VHS cover. But for some reason, Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns didn't last long and the film was scraped. No one knows why this happened, but Nintendo, Game Freak, and Pokémon won't tell you why if you contact them. So, for example, on the Pokémon Twitter and Facebook a post said, "Pokémon Movie 16 - Pokémon: The Movie Genesect and the Legend Awakened will premiere on Cartoon Network on October 19," even though it is technically Movie 17. Not even super Pokémon geeks have an answer to this. Also on the app QuizUp, one of the questions is how many Pokémon movies are there as of 2013, and it says that the answer is 16, even though it is technically 17. Only four Pokémon movies have been put on to Blu-Ray Disc yet, and those are Pokémon 4ever, Pokémon Heroes, Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker, and Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys.
